Keith Lynn dominated this weekend, netting himself and crew chief Roger Gordon their 4th win of the year, and moved ever closer to their second consecutive championship!
Even though there was not a huge number of bikes to run against this time, the top 4 riders were all there fighting for the win and the valuable points at hand. And due to water coming up thru the track, the top fuel and funnybikes were only running 1/8 mile track.
Travis Davis had trouble all weekend trying to put his new tire to the ground and he ended up in the semi-finals with his old tire. He had taken out so much power in an effort to keep the tire from spinning, that the bike bogged on him coming out of the hole. He recovered and started to overhaul Mike Coulson, who got away first, but then Travis hit a bump on the track and by the time he was able to gather the bike up again, the race was over.
So the finals came down to Keith and Mike again. Keith got away clean and set an ET of 4.32 to Mike's 4.38.
