Carl Renezeder Nissan Pro-2 got
a great start and found himself in third place on lap one, Kevin Probst got the
hole shot, and Carl was moving up to challenge quickly by moving into 2nd on the
second lap. The race soon turned into a two truck battle as the pair swapped the
lead several times before Probst ran out of talent and spun his truck with a lap
and a half remaining. Renezeder pulled away for the win.
Round 6 was a four way contest early on between Rhonda Konitzer, Evan Evans, Renezeder and Scott Taylor. Renezeder made quick work of the two trucks in front of him and left the others in his dust.
The Weismann 2WD Underdrive is a sister version to the successful Weismann 4WD Underdrives. It utilizes Weismann Quick change gears so that one can put in the strongest ring and pinion ratio available; then gear the truck to suit the tracks and conditions with finer ratio splits than available throught ring and pinion ratios. Like all of our high performance products, it is drysumped with our famous "Garbage Pump".
So far the count is 5 automatic transmission failures, and 4 or 5 driveshaft failures. With all the destruction going on around it, the light weight and extremely durable unit has not suffered a single failure in it's two years of life in the Pro-2 truck and the Trophy Truck.
