For the first time in 20 years, the Salton Sea played host to Speed Week. Four different boats running with Weismann Drives set four different "Kilo" records on water!

Troy Juve and George Cortez piloted the "In the Red" skater to a new world record in the Sportsman Performance 1 class at 120.414 mph.

This old cat still uses the same banned "Weismann #6 Drysump" drives that were on it when it was the original "Ragamuffin" that set a Modified speed record of 140.999 mph in 1996 that still holds today!
On Sunday "In the Red" had a one way pass of 128 mph. The team was putting on different props to set the fastest time of the weekend for the Super Cat Lite Class, when they ran out of time.

Dave Kutcher and Todd Peterson set the record for the Sportsman Twin Vee Naturally Aspirated class at 104.122 mph in AVR's "Shifts Happen!".

The WMK II Surface Drives on "Shifts Happen!"

Dave Kutcher, Todd Petersen, Tom Brunner, Brian Schienle, Brad Johnson and Scott Childs Jr. all teamed up to set the record for the fastest Sportsman Single Diesel record at a blistering speed of 44.204 mph with the new "Hammer Head" Duo Prop drive!
The last record was set by Team Extreme in the old "Ettore" Extreme that ran and is still running our banned "Weismann #6 Drives" at 88.608 mph in the Sportsman Twin Vee Supercharged class.
Out of seven record that were set over the weekend, Weismann Marine waded away with four, not bad if we do say so ourselves!
