In an incredible season with 9 out of 10 wins, Conam Yachts won it's second straight Suport Sport Title! Team boss and throttleman Angelo Tedeschi and pilot Aaron Ciantar secured this year’s SuperSport championship with a double win in the Vigo Grand Prix of the Sea!
The #44 Conam Yachts outfit have managed to combine blinding speed with impressive reliability in the quest to defend their championship. Tedschi and Ciantar have dominated every race this year in their Weismann-Driven Chaudron, losing only one victory in the first race after picking up a penalty for a jump start.

“I’m very, very happy with the results from this weekend and the year as a whole. I’m so proud to work with such a strong team, and what we have achieved. It’s all a matter of going as fast as possible, and being as reliable as possible. This is the benefit of five years of experience. We only look at the job we do, and we knew we were doing a good job. We’ve not been easy to beat this year, but I think that will hopefully encourage a lot of teams to come back and a lot of teams to join the championship.”, Tedeschi said.

“It’s absolutely fantastic
to have won the championship here today. From the beginning of today’s race
we held our speed well and from the third lap it was an easy race. Although
we knew we only needed 20 points, we didn’t want to back off, because we go
out every time with the aim to win, and we really wanted to win the
championship with a race win.”,
Aaron Ciantar said.
The #44 Conam Yachts team dominanted the Powerboat P1’s SuperSport class in the final Endurance race of the Vigo Grand Prix of the Sea weekend. The aspiring double champions beat off the #38 Baia High Performance and #47 Silverline Buzzi Bullet teams in the 11-lap race off the coast of Playa de Samil.
It was
another lights-to-flag victory for team boss and throttleman Angelo Tedeschi
and pilot Aaron Ciantar, who are aiming to secure their second SuperSport
crown in a row. The closest team to them in the championship points – the
#07 Microlink PC outfit – could only manage fourth today, pretty
much eliminating the crew of Vee Ganjavian and Gareth Williams from the 2008
title chase.
#44 Conam Yachts' double victory also gives them the overall Grand
Prix of the Sea win!
