The Weismann 6 Speed equipped Truggy has won the Tecate SCORE Baja 500 for the 4th year in a row!
The Truggy dominated with a 14 minute , 23 second advantage over the closest rival, finishing 4th overall and first in Class 1 with a time of 10:09:20. The Weismann 6 Speed equipped Herbst Trophy Truck finished 8th overall and 7th in the Trophy Truck Class with a time of 10:23:31.
Carl Renezeder in his Weismann equipped Trophy Truck managed only 28 miles this time before their engine gave up after throwing an oil pump belt. It was an unfortunate failure for them as the team was more than ready to win their first major Score race of the season.
