1999 WORLD OFFSHORE CHAMPIONS !

1999 EUROPEAN OFFSHORE CHAMPIONS !

1999 POLE POSITION CHAMPIONS !

Randy Scism and Ali Nasser in the Victory 7 boat built by Victory Team, powered by Seatek Diesels, and driven by Weismann 4 speed Drop Transmissions have won the first Triple Crown in UIM Class 1 Offshore !

By recording the second fastest Pole time for the last race in Dubai, UAE, Victory 7 won the Pole Position Championship becoming the first boat to win all 3 Championships in one year !

Victory 7 lead the first 4 laps before retiring from the race with a broken rudder. The high winds and 6 six foot waves proved to be too rough as Jotun and No Fear also broke their rudders.

Randy Scism and Ali Nasser win their 1st Offshore Crown with a strong 3rd place in Dubai, UAE !

Since this boat's debut 6 races ago, Victory 7 has won four Pole Positions, three 3rd places, one 2nd place, and two 1st places !

-And there is still one race left !

This is our 3rd Class 1 Championship in 6 years, the World's 1st with a Diesel / Transmission package in our 2nd year trying!

Jotun had a impressive race only to have trouble with the automatic kill, which gave us trouble shifting, then the turbo failed once again. Within their 1st year back, Andreas and Jann have risen to a force to contend with!

For the 5th race in a row, our Diesel 4 speed has won the Pole Position in World Offshore racing!

But this time it was Andreas Ugland and Jann Hillestad who took the honors, winning their 1st Pole Position !

Randy Scism and Ali Nasser finished in a close 3rd place, opening a 6 point lead in the Pole Championship. A 3rd place finish or better in tomorrows race in Dubai will seal the championship with one race to go.

RIQUE FORD AND TEAM RAGAMUFFIN
SETS NEW WORLD RECORD!

138.683 M.P.H.

(October 30, 1999 - Long Beach, CA) Two new Kilo records were set in Long Beach, California this past weekend! The records were all set in the early part of the event when the best water conditions and air temperatures were present. A total of eleven boats took to the course in hopes of that elusive speed record.

M-7 Jelly Belly broke the old "M" class record first running 137+ mph. M-99 Renegade was a strong challenger, but was just slightly off the pace. The big news came when Rique Ford and M-69 Ragamuffin took to the course, turning a blistering 138.683 mph to take the record from Rick Bowling and M-7 Jelly Belly. Since this is the last Kilo run scheduled for 1999, The M-69 record should stand for all time as the world's fastest "M" boat since all "M" boats will be competing in the new Super Cat class in 2000.

Bryan Bennett wins his 2nd race in a row using our KZ3 transmission. All Bryan needs to do is qualify in the World Finals in Gainsville, Fl. on Nov. 12th, and he wins the Eastern AMA/Prostar FunnyBike Championship !

Randy Scism and Ali Nasser extend their Championship lead with a hard fought race in Fujairah. On the second lap, after opening up a commanding lead, smoke filled up their cockpit and forced them to stop during the race! They got out and checked the engine bays to find one was completely covered in some sort of fluid. Since they needed to finish 70% of the race to get points, they straped themselves back in the smoke filled cockpit, put on their air-regulators for clean air, and stormed back to finish 3rd!

With only 2 races to go, if Kalfan Harib and Mohamed Ghaith in the V4 boat win the last 2 races, all V7 has to do is finish 3rd once, and the World Championship is ours again!

Jotun having a great race, running under-propped, flying in 3rd, and the way things happened in the race, they should have won the race! Unfortunately, they suffered an engine problem, which then took out the air-valves on one transmission, taking them out of contention. Andreas Ugland and Jann Hillestad were still very pleased with the their performance in the toughest race of the year!

4th Pole Position in a row for Randy Scism and Ali Nasser in Fujairah, UAE on Oct. 14th!

In only it's 5th race, this boat has proven itself as the one to beat with a commanding lead in the Championship and only 2 points behind in the Pole Position Champonship!

Steve Rice captured the Western AMA/Prostar Funnybike Series Championship for the 2nd year in a row in Tucson, Az on Oct. 8th.

Randy Scism and Ali Nasser win the European Offshore Championship in style with their 2nd win in a row and their 3rd Pole Positon in a row in Bodrum, Turkey on Sept. 5!

Victory 7 stormed thru a windy and rough race to win over the Victory 4 boat by almost a minute and a half despite having trouble shifting one of our 4 speeds!

Randy and Ali have stormed to a commanding lead in the World Championship with 94 points. Moving into 2nd place boat in the Championship with 60 points is the Victory 4 boat of Kalfan Harib and Mohamed Al Ghaith using our Drysump Drives, which have now an incredible 9 races on the same internals without failure!

The 1st win for our NEW 4 Speed Semi-Automatic Diesel Drop Transmissions!

After coming so close so many times last year, and the string of podium finishes this year, we have finally demonstrated again our capabilites in inventing, engineering, and manufacturing what we knew could be done, what nobody has ever done before, and what many people said could not be done!

We congratulate Randy Scism, Ali Nasser, and the Victory Team for dominating the opposition by starting from the Pole Position, leading from start to finish, and finishing over 3 minutes ahead of the second place boat in Istanbul, Turkey!

These two transmissions are the original prototype 4 speeds having done 9 hours of testing and now 2 full races! Victory 7 now holds a commanding lead in the UIM Championship with a 19 point lead over Victory 44.

Pole Position for the second race in a row for Randy Scism and Ali Nasser in Istanbul, Turkey!

Their average speed was a smoking 154 mph for the 2 passes, a full 8 mph faster than the 2nd place boat!

Randy Scism and Ali Nasser leave Norway with the Race Championship lead! Our new 4 speed package has performed flawlessly for both the Victory Team and Ugland's new diesel boats. Ugland's boat has been suffering from turbo failures during the past two races, but they still managed a remarkable 3rd, after losing the a turbo on the 4th lap of 12, in the roughest race this year in Arendal!

Randy and Ali winning the Pole in Oslo!

Introducing our latest innovation for Offshore Racing. Our Semi-automatic 4 Speed Drop Transmission.

Still coupled to the massive 10.6 l Seatek Diesel engine, we have simply taken our Diesel Engine/Transmission concept to the next level and have dropped the engine and our transmission,

by using our special drop boxes.

Jan Zaborowski , the team director of Ugland Offshore Racing Team, met Patrick and Christopher at the final race in Dubai UAE last year. Jan understood immediately the importance of our new design and brought the famous Norwegian team Ugland back into UIM World Offshore Racing this year with a new boat rigged by Jan, his son Christian, and friend Thomas at Craft Marine around our new concept.

In Travemunde, Germany on July 4th, this new boat was 4th across the checkered in the very first race it competed in! A battery failure on the 4th lap of 12, caused a power shortage and we had no control to the right engine kill switch, all the trim tap controls, and the right transmission couldn't be shifted out of 1st. The boat ran the rest of the race with the left side shifting all the way home.

Andreas Ugland and Jann Hillestad gained valuable seat time in the flat, fast race where they reached 150 mph while still on full tanks and being under-propped! The technical feedback from the Andreas and Jann was impressive.

Victory Team also wanted our new package, so they have made a new boat, and we have made a second version of our drop boxes to fit the different hull shape. This boat is to make it's debut in Arendal, Norway.

Henri Simon and Felix Serralles Jr. have started the 1999 season in style by winning the two opening rounds in the Puerto Rican Offshore Championship using our Drysump Drives!

Drambuie Open Class
FOREST BARBER JR. AND JOHNNY TOMLINSON ARE BACK-TO-BACK APBA OPEN CLASS WORLD CHAMPIONS!

For the second consecutive year using our Drysump Drives, Forest and Johnny's Drambuie On Ice smoked the competition in Sarassota, Florida on July 4th on route to their second Open Class World Championship in two years!

ROD MILLEN captured the 77th Pikes Peak Hill Climb again this year with a time just short of the 10 minute mark due to poor conditions at the top of the hill. But the truck (yes, that's a truck) was the class of the hill in the talented hands of Millen as he skated up the 152 turn course, securing our 8th win in 9 years!
