About UsTraction Products, Inc. is a family owned and operated company designing and manufacturing custom, innovative differentials, transaxles and transmissions solutions for the racing industry.
Founded in 1963 by Peter and Albert Weismann to produce the "best kept secret in racing" - the Weismann Locker, Traction Products continues to create "out of the box" ideas into the drivetrain world. Our custom Weismann Lockers and Weismann Drivetrains have dominated every form of racing - from Formula 1 to the Baja 1000. Demand for our high performance drivetrains has not just been confined to the auto racing industry. Traction Products has developed unique drivetrains for the Military and OEM Automotive companies, as well as branching off into other forms of racing. Whether you want to break records at the Bonneville Salt Flats, or you want to dominate the sport you race in, we can help you achieve your dreams.
