Glen Helen Round 12 Pro 4
Sept. 16th
Sept. 16th
3x Pro4 Champion Kyle LeDuc showed again why is is the current reigning champ as he took home the race win in Round 12 of the Pro 4 Championship.
Starting on pole, Kyle had Bryce Menzies hounding him in the opening laps before Kyle got a little sideways coming out of turn 2. Bryce nudged him and they both spun off the track! Menzies got going almost right away, but Kyle was forced to let the whole field thru before he could get back into the race.
Fortunately for Kyle there were a ridiculous amount of yellow flags due to a stupid rule that exists in short course racing and he was able to get back into contention for the race win.
Basically, say you loose control of your truck, as Carl Renezeder did all by himself in the lead, and stick it against the k rail on the inside of the track. Normally you would slam it in reverse and get your sorry ass going again, albeit way behind the rest of the field.
But in short course you can stay there and they will throw the yellow flag. You will be then allowed to get back going and rejoin the race at the back of the pack - without going a lap down! Then on the restart you can try again.
It totally screws the guy out front, but who cares, this isn't racing, it's a show. So in order to make the show more entertaining, they let the field bunch up behind the pace truck with every yellow they throw.

After the 4th or 5th yellow flag, Kyle was back up front as he deftly maneuvered around the competition on each restart.
Kyle races with a Weismann ULR UnLocker, a unique device that allow him to drive where ever he wants even though he has a spool in the back of this truck. Kyle got the fast lap award too on his way to his win and the Championship lead!
Runner up RJ Anderson races with our ULR UnLocker as well, and we setup the ring and pinion in house for his GM Front Differential too.

Greg Adler look set to take home a solid 3rd place with our SWR Sidewinder Front Differential, but a mechanical failure in the driveline took him out right at the end.
Rob MacCachren had a difficult race, losing his brakes as did Bryce Menzies. Rob Continued to race without brakes to a 5th place, losing just 8 points to Kyle in the Championship, were Bryce just quit.
In the last two races weekends, Adrian's truck has been improving greatly, with Adrian taking pole at Reno, and taking 3rd place in his strong showing at Glen Helen this weekend.
Adrian Cenni only knows how to drive one way, and that is flat out all the time. Adrian must have punished someone for getting in his way.
