Luke Johnson won his first Pro 2 Championship in style by winning the 12th Round in Elk River Minnesota.
With just three laps to go, a yellow flag stacked up the field behind Luke and gave Michael Vanden Heuvel and Brad Lovell one last shot at beating Luke to the checkered flag. But Luke was not going to be denied as he drove away from the field to victory.
“I’m just overcome with emotion,” said an ecstatic Johnson. “We had to fight for that one…it’s just a dream come true.”
Luke Johnson and Brad Lovell finished 1-2 in the championship and it is no coincidence that they both race with our B2T Underdrive! In fact they are the only two racers in the TORC Series smart enough to race with it.

Brad Lovell had a tough year, but still came close to winning the championship with a hard fought win in the season ending Round 13.
Luke and Brad each won 4 races each this year.
Luke Johnson is the son of Ricky Johnson, who won the Pro 2 Championship 9 years ago.
