Each year the biggest race at the Crandon Offroad Speedway is the Crandon Cup. The entire Pro 2 and Pro 4 fields of race trucks race for the Crandon Cup against each other.
The Pro 2 field is set up in a single line about 25 yards in front of another line of Pro 4 trucks. First the Pro 2 trucks are released and roughly 30 seconds later the Pro 4 trucks are released.
All the trucks land rush start into a 100+ mph turn, down hill, with a blind apex. It is definitely the most scariest turn the pro 4 racers have to contend with in the whole series.
Kyle LeDuc had the whole shot for the Pro 4 field with R.J. Anderson tucked right in behind him. Both of them race with the Weismann ULR UnLocker Front Differentials.

Kyle, R.J. and the rest of the Pro 4 truck ran down and started picking their way through the Pro 2 field.
Andrew Carlson in the red and black #15 truck has our ULR Unlocker in his truck and Adrian "The Wildman" Cenni is racing with our SideWinder Front Differential in his orange Pro 4 truck.
Offroad legend Rob MacCachren racing his number 21 Pro 2 truck looked good as he was racing near the front of the Pro 2 filed, but he was no match for the Pro 4 and had to yield way to Kyle. Rob would finish 5th overall with our same B2T Underdrive he has raced with all these years.
As Kyle got to the front, he started to loose more and more gears in his transmission. That forced him to rev the engine higher in the lower gears that he had left and the water pump caught on fire, putting him out of the race.
With Kyle out of the way, it was just a matter of time before R.J. would get by Doug Mittag for the lead of the race and hold on for the last 3 laps to win the Crandon Cup for the second straight year!
Rounding out the podium was Doug Mittag and Ryan Beat, both racing our latest B2T underdrive in their Pro 2 trucks.
We can only wonder what this race would have been like if the Pro 2 truck of Jerett Brooks would have raced... I guess we are going to have to wait until next year to find out.
